Hi, my name is Dusty Potter and I’m a second generation Hearing Instrument Specialist. I spent my youth around hearing aids and hearing tests — apprenticing with my mother, and so it was only natural that I chose to follow a career path that’s focused on helping people regain their hearing, improving their ability to listen and to communicate, and to reconnect with their families, friends and work colleagues.
But I also grew up around music; for as long as I can remember, I’ve been a bassist, a guitarist, a trombonist and a vocalist — and that’s what sets Ear Level Communications apart. It’s a difference that you’ll notice the minute you walk into our office. You’ll notice that we don’t walk around in lab coats; in fact, Ear Level Communications looks more like a music studio than an audiologist’s office!
And it’s very much on purpose. My love of music directly complements my commitment to helping Texas residents regain their hearing. My musical background provides me with a unique ability: To understand how hearing instruments perform, to comprehend the way my clients describe exactly what it is they’re hearing, and to understand how my clients want to be able to hear.
